With A Purpose
With A Purpose
Founded in 1999 by a passionate veteran, our organization was built on the core belief that we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who have served. Our founder, having experienced the challenging transition to civilian life firsthand, understood the critical need for a reliable, supportive civilian structure. His vision was simple yet profound: to create a safe, supportive, and fun environment for fellow veterans and their families to enjoy life, starting with cherished community traditions like a spectacular Halloween celebration.
This specific focus on family-friendly, low-stress seasonal events provides a vital contrast to the chaos and intensity of military service, allowing families to build positive, shared memories in a structured and welcoming space.
We recognized early on that while veterans face significant mental and physical challenges, including PTSD and social readjustment, the entire family unit needs holistic support. By providing dedicated community events and vital resources—ranging from peer-to-peer mentoring to essential referrals for housing stability and employment assistance—we are actively addressing the spectrum of social hurdles head-on.
We are committed to fostering a strong sense of belonging—the feeling that you are seen, supported, and understood by a community that shares your experience. Every event, every program, and every resource we offer is meticulously designed to contribute directly to the stability, resilience, and overall well-being of veterans and their loved ones, ensuring they have the community infrastructure necessary to thrive long after their service ends.
To foster a resilient community for veterans and their families by providing engaging, safe social environments and essential support resources, such as counseling referrals, mentorship programs, and family workshops. We specifically address mental health challenges like PTSD and work to foster overall well-being and a profound sense of belonging that extends long past their time in uniform.
To ensure every veteran and their family thrives in a supportive, connected community. They should have access to the stability, resources, and festive, safe environments needed to heal from the invisible wounds of service, connect deeply with peers, and enjoy life together. Our ultimate goal is to see families free from the burdens of social isolation, transitional anxiety, and post-service challenges.
Until Valhalla,
